The following survey questions were sent to all 2024 candidates.

This was Alex Williams' response:

1. What prompted you to run for this position?

The driving force behind my decision to run stems from a deep commitment to preserving traditional values, fostering a sense of community, and ensuring that our educational system aligns with conservative principles. I believe in the power of strong family values, limited government, and personal responsibility to shape a better future for our children.

2. What are your goals for the Branson School District if elected?

My primary goals are to prioritize academic excellence, reinforce conservative values within the curriculum, and advocate for parental

involvement. I aim to promote an environment where students are equipped with the knowledge and values that will empower them to become

responsible contributors to our society.

3. What is the #1 issue you hope to address if elected?

Ensuring academic and vocational achievement is my top priority. I will focus on curriculum enhancements that emphasize core subjects, instill a strong work ethic, and prepare students for real-world challenges. A robust and well-rounded education is key to shaping the leaders of

tomorrow.

4. On a scale of 1 to 5 (poor to excellent), how would you rate the transparency and communication of Branson's current Board of Education?

I would rate the Branson School Board’s transparency and communication as a 4, acknowledging the need for constant improvement among any

professional or governmental organization. Open communication is vital to building trust within the community, and I am committed to fostering

greater transparency in the decision-making processes of the School Board.

5. Is there anything you want to change or improve in that regard?

I am dedicated to implementing measures that enhance communication between the School Board, parents, and the community. This includes the availability of public comment during school board meetings, accessible online platforms, and actively seeking feedback to address concerns and build a more collaborative relationship.

6. Branson's long-standing culture has been one of patriotism, Christianity, and family values; how would you support or change this culture as a member of the Branson School Board?

I wholeheartedly embrace and aim to strengthen these foundational values. As a School Board Director, I will work to ensure that our schools continue to reflect the community's values by fostering an atmosphere that respects and honors patriotism, Christianity, and strong family values. I believe these principles contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment.

7. How would you define your political affiliation? Democrat, Republican, or other?

I proudly identify as a Conservative Republican. My political beliefs are rooted in the principles of limited government, personal freedom, and a commitment to preserving the traditional values that have made our nation strong. I believe in safeguarding our constitutional rights and

ensuring that conservative principles guide our decision-making processes.
