Make a difference behind the scenes.

Not everyone leads in the front. Some people make the biggest impact from behind the scenes. If that sounds more your style, here are some ways that you can influence change in the Branson community!

1. The Pen (or keyboard) Is Mightier Than the Sword - Writing to our city council can make a big difference. Maybe you have some feedback about an issue they're currently considering. Maybe you have an idea to help Branson businesses or neighborhoods that they haven't heard. Maybe you just want to drop them a note of encouragement (they don't get nearly enough of those) to thank them for their service. Whatever the reason, sending an email or text is an important contribution that you can make without ever leaving your home! Click here for their contact info!

2. Phone a Friend - You may be surprised how many Bransonites have no clue when our local election is, which means they're missing one of our greatest opportunities to create positive change! It might sound a little strange, but there's no harm in calling a friend and reminding them to vote in April. You're not telling them how to vote, just when. If they want to learn more about the date or the candidates then just send them this helpful link from Branson U!

3. Support a Candidate - Maybe you're not comfortable running for office, but your friend is. Support them! Campaigns can be expensive so financial support is always helpful, but that's not all... Get behind them and help spread the word about their campaign and their character.  Tell folks in your neighborhood (that might include social media "Friends") why you support that person and why you think they should be elected. Everyone wins when our community is more informed!

Run for office or apply for a committee.

Make your voice heard.
