2. While a select few of Branson's local leaders are elected, several more are "appointed" to serve on various citizen-led committees. For instance, Parks, Finances, etc, are all comprised of some aldermen and some volunteers. These committees contribute more than you may realize to the decisions that affect our community, discussing many issues and projects in greater depth than the Board of Aldermen.
