RALPH LEBLANC- WARD 3 ALDERMAN CANDIDATE

The following survey questions were sent to all 2024 candidates.

This was Ralph LeBlanc's response:

1. What prompted you to run for this position?

What prompted me to run for Ward 3 Alderman again this election cycle is that the first two years were a whirlwind and now that we have got some real momentum at City Hall I am wanting to make sure that the direction that the residents of Branson want to see the City go has a firm foundation in place to insure it’s success for everyone.

2. What are your goals for the Branson community if elected?

Finalize Station 4 build and get it operational and making sure that the Police Station continues to move forward and finalized so that the Branson Police Department can operate like the first class organization that they are.

3. What is the #1 issue you hope to address if elected?

To continue to push for sound economic development, to continue to attract quality business, and quality employees.

4. On a scale of 1 to 5 (poor to excellent), how would you rate the transparency and communication of Branson's current Board of Aldermen?

The level of communication and transparency by city Officials, the Mayor, and the BOA is the best it has ever been…The biggest issue is the lack of understanding of how government works to many residents.  This is the biggest hurdle we have to jump because it does require some education and we have to get better at that aspect of it.

5. Is there anything you want to change or improve in that regard?

Have some resources available so that people can get up to speed about how City Government operates.

6. Branson's long-standing culture has been one of patriotism, Christianity, and family values; how would you support or change this culture as a Branson Alderman?

I Absolutely Support Faith, Family, Flag, and Fun.

7. How would you define your political affiliation? Democrat, Republican, or other?

Republican…Conservative Values.
